Defending Imam Bukhari from Anti Hadeeth lies.

In this session I shall try to point out the lies promoted by Anti Hadeeth against Imam Bukhari.

For your kind information, ALL of their attacks on Imam Bukhari are taken from Syiah sources. The Anti Hadeeth are too dumb to understand the writings of Imam Bukhari so much that they have to depend on third party sources to mount their attacks.

The source of defamation on Imam Bukhari is taken from

ATTACK #1: How could Imam Bukhari writes down 600,000 hadeeth in 16 years. They says
“600,000 hadith / 16 years = 37,500 per year = 3,125 per month = 104.66 per day (30 days
in a month) = 8.68 hadith per hour (assuming a 12 hour day).
no breaks for lunch, 5 times prayer, kentut, toilet, public holidays, wesak day etc. bullshit.
Also, where did he get the time to teach 90,000 people ??
 MY REPLY: That’s because you’re an idiot as like any typical run-of-the-mills Anti Hadeeth. When
we say Hadeeth, we refer to “matn” and “sanad”. 1 hadeeth have one matn and one sanad. The
next hadeeth will have the same matn but different sanad. The third hadeeth will have the same
sanad but different matn.
 Therefore, it doesn’t take Imam Bukhari more than one hour to memorize/analyze/write down 200
hadeeth at least.
 200 hadeeth = 1 hr
2400 hadeeth = 12 hrs/day
38400 hadeeth= In 16 days(average)
And for 16 years Imam Bukhari have the capacity to narrate/analyze/write more than
14,016,000 hadeeth.
 THEREFORE, since he only analyzed 700,000, it shows that he managed to make time for
other activities as well i.e. eating, travelling, teachings etc.

ATTACK #2 : Anti Hadeeth claims that Imam Bukhari’s lineage specifically his great,great grandfather by the name of Bardizba al Jufri.

MY REPLY: This is actually true considering that at that time, the call for Islam has not reached Bukhara. It’s clear that the son of Bardizba, Ibn Mughira converted to Islam and that’s when Imam Bukhari’s family started contributing to the scholarly works of Islam

ATTACK #3 : That Imam Bukhari and many Imams of Islam are fire worshippers and have never ceased from worshipping fires. They rely their case upon a book written by Abdul Wadud at http://www.free-minds.org/books/wadud_00pre.htm.

MY REPLY: In truth, Syed Abdul Wadud is a deranged man claiming the existence of a Persian-Zorostarianism conspiracy against the Quran and against Islam. He claims that the Al Hadeeth is a product, or by-product of such conspiracy.

Of course, he provides no legitimate proof or any evidence that can hold up in court. Most of what he writes are either sourced from the orientalists or the Shia sources themselves.

Among the glaring mistake that is contained in his book is

  1. Never did he quote verses 16:44, 16:64, 62:02, 02:231, 02:151 and many more in his analysis of the Quran.
  2. He listed the six Imam Hadeeth and calls them all PERSIANS. Everyone knows that Imam Muslim is an Arab, so is Abu Dawood, An Nasai and Ibnu Majah. The only one that’s not Arab is Imam Bukhari. So much for relying on credible source.
  3. He still quotes sources from Al Hadeeth An Nabawiy and make his conclusion based on that
  4. He doesn’t understand a single thing about what he read in the Hadeeth and all that he has quoted
  5. His historical facts are either unfounded or figments of his own imagination.

Therefore, the Anti Hadeeth relies on crack-pot intellect like Abdul Wadud to get their justification in attacking Imam Bukhari.

ATTACK #4 : Anti Hadeeth claims that Imam Bukhari memorized 600,000 hadeeth yet he only authenticate 7000 and declared the rest to be inauthentic

MY REPLY: Those learned in Ulum Al Hadeeth would know that Imam Bukhari had never declared
other than the 7000 hadeeth to be unauthentic.My only comment is for those who accuses Imam
Bukhari of something and fail to provide proof, he/she is an outright liar. As for the question of who
wrote Sahih Bukhari, let me remind all of us that the works of Imam Bukhari have been studied by
all scholars, muslims and non. Yet, not a single one of them ever doubted that the Sahih was
written by Imam Bukhari.
ATTACK #5 : The list of teachers of Imam Bukhari are like so:
1.      Tabi'een
2. Contemporaries of Tabi'een but did not narrate.
3.      Heard from elderly Tabi'een.
4. Narrates from his colleagues who were his seniors.
5.      Narrates from his juniors.
Anti Hadeeth then went on saying “contemporaries of tabi'een but did not narrate”.
so they kept their mouth shut !! so how did bukhari get the hadith from them – did he
force them to narrate ???
MY REPLY: He studied under them about the hadeeth he narrated. He doesn’t get narration
from them because they do not want to be in the chain of narration. But, these tabieen knows
about hadeeth as much as the tabi’een who narrates Hadeeth

ATTACK #6: There is no evidence as to who wrote Aj Jami' As Sahih. There is no evidence that
Imam Bukhari wrote the book.

MY REPLY: In fact, the Sahih Bukhari is the most recorded document in history. The reason
why there are so many version is because the Aj Jami is recorded by so many of Imam Bukhari's
students. At least 90,000 students studied directlyunder him.
Therefore, when is AJ Jami's is recorded, there are bound to be more than one version.
But ALL VERSIONS contained the same number of hadeeth.

According to Ibn Hajar Asqalani in his book Nukat, the
number of hadiths in all narrations (versions) is the same. The most famous one
today is the version narrated by al-Firabri (d.
932), who is a trusted
student of Bukhari.
Khatib al-Baghdadi in his book History of Baghdad had quoted
Firabrisaying: "There were about seventy thousand people who have heard Sahih
Bukhari with me".

Firabri is not the only transmitter of Sahih al-Bukhari. There were many others that narrated that book to later generations, such as Ibrahim ibn Ma'qal (d. 907), Hammad ibn Shaker (d. 923), Mansur Burduzi (d. 931), and Husain Mahamili (d. 941). There are many books that noted differences between these versions; Fath al-Bari is the most famous among them.

Dialogue with Anti Hadeeth- Defending Imam Syafiee

Dear readers,
I shall try to bring u a point-by-point rebuttal against
an article written by Anti Hadeeth (AH) against the good
name of Imam Syafiee. Mind u this is an original article
taken from the Sangkancil mailing list and can be read at
http://www.malaysia.net/lists/sangkancil/2000-11/frm00590.html
I shall post it in a statement then rebuttal format, so
that you will be able to get a clearer picture. Each and every
rebuttal will start with the phrase “MY REPLY”.
==================================================================
(Start)
AH writes: THE WORD ‘AL-HEKMAH’ (WISDOM) IN THE QURAN -
By A. Mohammed
EXPOSING THE BULLSHIT OF SYAFIE AL KHADDAB.
(Note - the A Mohamed who wrote this is not me Ali bin Mohd.
This is sourced from elsewhere).
Due to the fact that the Quran did not contain any mention
of the words ‘Sunna’t Muhammad’, the ardent Sunni’s found
it necessary to manipulate the meaning of some Quranic
words so as to create a Quranic reference to their cherished
‘hadith’ and ‘Sunna’. The word on which they base their
claim is that of (Al-Hekmah) as found in a number of verses
as:
"Remember God’s blessings upon you, and what He sent down to
you of the ‘Al-Ketab’ and ‘Al-Hekmah’ to enlighten you with it."
2:231
==================================================================
My Reply: The Quran doesn’t say “Mushaf Uthmani, as well, but
the Anti HAdeeth uses them all the time. The fact that the writer
quotes the above verse and labels it as “2:231” shows that the AH
writer is using the Mushaf Uthmani
==================================================================
AH writes: Literally speaking, the meaning of ‘Al-Ketab’ is the book
(theQuran), and ‘Al-Hekmah’ is wisdom. Nevertheless they interpret
‘Al-Hekmah’ here to mean the Sunna of Muhammad. However, with a close
inspection of the Quranic verses, it can be shown that this
interpretation is a total corruption. This is due to the following
reasons:
==================================================================
My Reply: We shall see who is the corrupted one.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
ONE :The word ‘bihee’ (with it) that appear at the end of the verse,
is in the singular mode, in other words it describes one thing and
not two. For that reason the words ‘Al-Hekmah’ and ‘Al-Ketab’ must
denote one thing and not two, unless of course God is making
grammatical mistakes!
If the words ‘Al-Hekmah’ and ‘Al-Ketab’ really referred to the
Quran and the Sunna, then the verse should grammatically end with
the word ‘bihima’ (with them), which is the plural mode of ‘bihee’.
==================================================================
My Reply: This is the same point raised by Farouk Peru before.
The answer is the Dhamir Muttasil “hi” refers to “ma” in verse.
It doesn’t refer to “Al Hekmah” and Al Kitab” but Ism Mausul “ma”
in the verse.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
TWO :The word ‘Al-Hekmah’ is used throughout the Quran as
an adjective of the ‘Al-Ketab’ (the Quran). This is made
evident in the following verses :
"Y.S., and the Quran Al-Hakim" 36:1-2
"This is what We recite to you of the ‘Ayat’ and the
‘Zekr Al-Hakim"
3:58:"A.L.R., these are the signs of the ‘Ketab Al-Hakim"
10:1 also 31:2.
==================================================================
My Reply : Again we see the ignorance of Anti Hadeeth in Arabic.
The word Al Hekmah does not carry only ONE MEANING in the Quran.

And notice, in 02:231 and the above verses, they carry different
form:
02:231 = al kitab wal hikmah
36:1-2 = Al Hikmah on it’s own.
Noticed that the word “Wa” is in between Al Kitab and Al Hikmah in 02:231.
Yet that is missing in all the other verses.
The Wau is called “wau atfa” or “the wau that connects”. It’s supposed to
connect between two different articles (or subjects).
Given the AH interpretation, then we are forced to assume that
Al Kitab and Al Hikmah is the same. If that is so, then when
God says “Wasyamsi wa dhuhaha” is God saying that “the Sun” is
the same as “the dusk” (in verse 91:01)? Does AH assumes that
"Asy Syams" is the same as "Ad Dhuha"?
We see now how shallow the AH is in understanding the Quran
==================================================================
AH Writes:
THREE :The same word ‘Al-Hekmah’ is used in the Quran in connection
with prophets and messengers who lived before the time of
Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). Obviously before Muhammad lived his
Sunna did not exist. Thus to say that ‘Al-Hekmah’ means
Sunna’t Muhammad is incorrect. Consider the following verses:
a- The following are God’s words to Jesus (P.B.U.H.):
"And I taught you the ‘Ketab’ (Scripture) and ‘Al-Hekmah’
(wisdom)." 5:110

Clearly the word ‘Al-Hekmah’ here does not mean the Sunna of
Muhammad.
==================================================================
My Reply: It simply means that each Prophets has their own
teachings external to the Books that they carry with them to
their people(s).
That's all. Remember, Al Hikmah in 05:110 doesn't carry the same exact
meaning as in 02:231.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
b- The following were the words of Abraham (P.B.U.H.) as he
implored his Lord :
"Our Lord, and send for them a messenger from among them
to recite to them your ‘Ayat’ and teach them the ‘Ketab’
(Scripture) and ‘Al-Hekmah’ (wisdom)." 2:129
Again the word ‘Al-Hekmah’ here could not mean anything but
wisdom. Abraham had no knowledge of the ‘Sunna’ of Muhammad.
==================================================================
My Reply: Anti Hadeeth choose to understand as they will. They have
complete disregard to the truth.

In this verse, the “Hikmah” means the teachings of the Prophet additional
to the “Kitab” in the verse.

Again, the word is Al Hikmah and not Hikmah per say. It's ism maarifah and
therefore, it has not the same meaning as in 02:231. 62:02 etc.
It’s that simple.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
FOUR :A further evidence that the word ‘Al-Hekmah’ as used in
the Quran means wisdom and not Sunna is found in the following verse:
"He bestows ‘Al-Hekmah’ upon whoever He pleases, and whoever attains
‘Al-Hekmah’ has indeed attained a great blessing." 2:269
The words "whoever He pleases" in this verse indicate that
God bestows ‘Al-Hekmah’ upon any of the believers and not
just His messengers. If we assume that ‘Al-Hekmah’ means
the Sunna we would have to believe that any ordinary
believer may also have his own personal Sunna that has to
be followed by other believers! This of course is not the case.
The verse would instead make full sense if we think of ‘Al-
Hekmah’ in its proper meaning as wisdom.
==================================================================
My Reply: Unfortunate for Anti Hadeeth, the Hikmah here is different
from the ones in 02:231 or 62:02. Just like the word Al Kitab in the
Quran. They can mean the Quran, the Taurah(25:35), Injil (i.e. 05:110)
and even Luh Mahfuz
Anti Hadeeth is so ignorant in Arabic that they think each word
in the Quran must only have one meaning.
They don’t know the concept if “Ism Maarifah” or why there is an
“Alif Lam” at the start of the word(s).
==================================================================
AH Writes:
SIX :Perhaps the simplest and most convincing reason for
discarding the corrupted meaning of ‘Al-Hekmah’ so as to
mean the Sunna, is the fact that God is neither vague nor
fond of providing us with puzzles. God asserts that the
Quran is straightforward, it contains no crookedness:
"An Arabic Quran, without any crookedness, that they may
take heed." 39:28
==================================================================
My Reply: The Anti Hadeeth is fond of the “crookedness” part,
they totally forgot about the “Arabic Quran” part of 39:28.
Again exhibiting their “taking part-of-the-Quran-they-want-and-discard-
the-part-they-don’t-like” habits.
If one were to take the entire verse, one will see that the Quran
is clear, straightforward, straight if one is to understand them in
Arabic, not from mere translation as the AH is so fond of doing.
We have seen above how the AH beliefs only introduce contradictions
in the Quran.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
Surely, had God willed that we should follow the teachings
of the Quran plus the Sunna He would have mentioned
the words ‘Sunna’t Muhammad’ explicitly in the Quran.
Needless to say, the only Sunna that is mentioned in the
Quran is the Sunna of Allah.
"This is the Sunna of Allah for those of the past, and
you will find no alternative for the Sunna of Allah." 33:62
The Sunna of Allah is to be found in the Quran and previous Scripture.
==================================================================
My Reply: So If God decides to express it in another way and not
in the way Anti Hadeeth wants Him to do so, is it a crime. God had expressed
the compulsion of following the Sunnah in various verses 02:231,
02:151, 62:02, 16:44, 16:64 and many more verses. The message is clear
and there is no doubt about it.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
Moreover if God had revealed to Muhammad an additional
Sunna other than the Quran, as the Sunni’s would claim
then we would expect God to say ‘We have revealed to
you the Ketab and the Sunna’ or words to that effect.
Instead the only Revelation endorsed in the Quran is the
Quran itself:
"And We have revealed to you the Ketab (the Quran) truthfully." 5:48
==================================================================
My Reply: Again, who is Anti HAdeeth to tell God how to express Himself.
As if to say that Allah SWT is only to express His will in accordance to
the ways and methods of the Anti Hadeeth?
This is so ludicrous.
==================================================================
AH Writes:
SEVEN :Finally, the word ‘Al-Hikmah’ in any Arabic dictionary
means WISDOM. To leave the literal and direct meaning
and accept a manipulated meaning is to reject the truth of the Quran.

==================================================================
My Reply: Just like AL Kitab, it means “the book”. But, in 25:35 it means
Taurah and in 05:110 is means Injil.
So, again, Anti Hadeeth attempt to use the Arabic language has failed.

A Look At Anti Hadeeth Blogspot

I was made aware of a blogspot, http://votq.wordpress.com/. It was supposed to represent the voice of the "pro Quran" people.

I feel like throwing up when i read the contents of thge blog. It's meant to defend the Quran but in actual fact there's nothing "quranic" about the blog at all.

They discard part of the Quran which they don't like and they take only parts which they like.

But feel free to browse the site and comment.

Suffice to say, no mention or reference to 16:44 in the blogspot is telling on how un"quranic" the spot is. Read more!

Clearing Some Misguided Understanding Of Al Hadeeth An Nabawiy

Clearing Some Misguided Understanding Of Al Hadeeth An Nabawiy

Apparently, the Anti Hadeeth is in bed with some American Evengelical Christians in defaming the good name of Al Hadeeth. The Anti Hadeeth sect apparently speak in the same tone with their “Jerry Fallwell”’s counterpart when commenting on a number of hadeeth.

Here, I wish to list down some of the accusations and try to provide the true explanation of the hadeeth.

1.0 How do you explain Bukhari vol. IV, no. 543 where it states that Adam was 60 cubits tall?

EXPLANATION: The more complete wording in al-Bukhari and Muslim adds "in the heaven" (fi al-Sama'), i.e. in an other-worldly context. Similarly, when the Prophet saw Ibrahim (AS) in the heaven he said he was so tall that he could hardly see his head as narrated from Samura ibn Jundub in Sahih al-Bukhari.

2.0 Satan lives in the nose over night. He can be flushed out if you snort water up and then out the nose. (Bukhari vol. IV, no. 516; Muslim vol. I, no. 462) How big is Satan? Is he in everyone's nose? Is he omnipresent?

EXPLANATION : That's right. There are satans up our noses. But only in the noses of “smucks” who makes an issue out of this hadeeth. “Devil” is another way of representing danger or "dirtiness". The "devil" by itself is considered as “unclean” in Islam, so in this context of the hadeeth, it is used in place of smudge or dirt. The trouble with Anti hadeeth and their Evengelical counterparts is that they take the Hadeeth from it’s translation.

3.0 Muhammad forbade the game of chess! (Muslim vol. IV, no. 5612)

EXPLANATION : No he didn't. Read the hadeeth properly next time and stop reading it from it's translation

4.0 Muslims have one intestine while non-Muslims have seven! (Muslim vol. III, no. 5113-5115)

EXPLANATION : Another way of explaining 05:03 in the Quran. It shows that a Muslim is limited in terms of the things he can eat and drink as opposed to non muslims. This is another example of Majaz. Taking it in it's literal form is either stupid or very stupid.

5.0 Fevers are from the fire of hell and can be cooled by water.(Bukhari vol. IV, nos. 483,486)

EXPLANATION : I've explained this before, it's a common saying among Arabs at that time that when one has a high fever, one is having a heat from hell. Another idiotic understanding of the hadeeth taken literally from it’s translation.

6.0 If you lift up your eyes towards heaven while praying, your eyes will be snatched out!

EXPLANATION : Another example of “Majaz”. Anyone taking the hadeeth literarily is either blind or should blind himself like Kassim Selamat, for his/her eyes is useless.

Ampunkan mak Kassim

7.0 We should drink camel urine as a medicine

EXPLANATION : We should? The hadeeth doesn't say that it applies to all? Anyways, it's another form of the Prophet's miracle

8.0 A She-Monkey gets stoned / condemned, for 'adultery??! (Islam recognises human moral laws for the animal kingdom!!!). Narrated Amru bin Maimun: "During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it - the she monkey had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them."

EXPLANATION : Secular-Liberalists feels very offended by this hadeeth because they have to accept the fact that their value system is lower than that of monkeys. Even monkeys regard adultery as a crime punishable by death. They, on the other hands, view it as tolerable or acceptable. Kindda like pigs.

9.0 Muhammad was a dog hater. He thought that angels could not enter a house if a dog was there and that black dogs were devils. Thus he ordered dogs to be killed and forbid the selling of dogs. Why were only black dogs supposedl;y possessed by shaitans/devils in Islam?

EXPLANATION : The term "black dog" is another way of expressing "fierce looking dogs". And the word "devil" is used to mean "extreme danger". As much as we know that a devil is dangerous, we should also regard a "fierce dog" as dangerous. Nowadays, dogs that has been caught biting onto a human will be put to death summararily. The practice is common until today.

10.0 People turn into rats, pigs and monkeys. (Bukhari vol. IV, nos. 524, 627; Muslim vol. IV, no. 7135). Abraham's father was turned into an animal (Bukhari vol. IV, no.569)

EXPLANATION : The Quran says that Jews were turned into apes, 02:65. So, what is so unusual about these Al Hadeeth? God can change anyone into anything and there are many verses in the Quran about it. For example, the example of Moses staff turning into snakes.
